Two-factor authorization, or 2FA, is a sign-in security process that you may set up for your website. This helps with additional security, aside from the password level, which can sometimes be compromised for different reasons.
To enable 2FA you will need an authenticator app to set up a Time Based One Time Password (OTP). Below are some options:
- Google Authenticator
- Authy
- FreeOTP
- LastPass Authenticator
- Duo Mobile
- Microsoft Authenticator
To enable 2FA navigate to Profile, scroll down to WordFence Login Security, then click Activate 2FA
Next, use your phone (after the 2FA App has been installed on your phone) and scan the QR code to sync the App to your website.
